The Mystery At The Blind Frog Ranch Season 5 has caught the attention of many viewers with its first episode. However, it’s not because of their remarkable discoveries. Instead, many fans are upset about how the team seemingly ditches a million-dollar worth of “treasure,” which could provide them with anything they could’ve asked for. Keep reading to see the discussion.

Mystery At The Blind Frog Ranch: Fans Are Getting Skeptical

The first episode of Mystery At The Blind Frog Ranch Season 5 featured Chad’s dangerous underwater cave exploration. But aside from what he discovered in the caverns, many fans were left scratching their heads over a scene where the crew stumbles upon a mysterious man who took a metal cylinder. What happened next was never revealed, and some fans think it was just for show. This led to many people questioning the show’s credibility, as things are starting to look more scripted than before. Others have also questioned their knowledge about minerals, including the moment when they discovered a “radioactive uranium” due to a Geiger Counter’s measurement, which doesn’t precisely identify uranium.

Fans Puzzled After Team Ditches Million-Dollar Treasure

Some Mystery At The Blind Frog Ranch fans on social media discussed the Season 5 premiere, where the team seemingly ditches a million-dollar treasure. According to the OP, they were puzzled about how nobody was excited about finding a meteorite. Instead, all they did was talk about how to get past it. They believe it leads to the Keyhole Chamber. But they had to make a hole in order to pass. But the OP thinks that the massive meteorite itself could be worth more than what they’re trying to find.

  • “What about discovering uranium ore? That’s gotta have some value Disclaimer – I know nothing about mineral rights, let alone things like uranium rights.”
  • “It’s a proper question… meteorites can be worth millions of dollars. If you know you have one, start by digging that up!”
  • “lol right? – Boom, sell the meteorite – get a company to come excavate it – slam some cans like oak island – traverse into the caves!”
  • “Meteorite requires zero permitting and can be freely (and safely) bought and sold. There are many types of buyers. And it’s at the absolute minimum $2 per gram, though possibly much higher depending on composition.”

Mystery At The Blind Frog Ranch: The Team Has Been Leaving Many Plot Holes

Another discussion thread for the Season 5 premiere of Mystery At The Blind Frog Ranch also called out the crew for leaving out a lot of stories as the show progresses. One of them was the cave they went down themselves, wearing specialized suits. Some were puzzled about how it was never explored again. Another commenter also said that the gallium-filled rocks they discovered seemingly don’t exist anymore, as if they never saw them.

  • “So the abandonment of that tunnel filled poisonous gas wasn’t enough to drive you away? The underwater “box” filled with gallium? Abandonment is the very foundation of this show!”
  • “That cylinder was the script next weeks wacky plot. Of course, that will go horribly wrong after the next made-up crisis. This show is scripted comedy after all.”
  • “It feels like every episode ends with some version of them saying they gotta find another entrance to the flooded caves. đź«  the other entrances will also be flooded though…they gotta get some better writers on this deal. Lol”
  • “Time bandits. Watch on demand only about 10 mins of new stuff. Forward thru 35 mins of commercials and replays.”

The fourth episode of Season 5 will air on July 2, 2025, on Discovery Channel. If you are looking for more reality TV news, come back to TV Shows Ace for all your updates.

  1. It’s like Mountain Monsters merged with the 3 Stooges.
Season 1; found gallum deep in an under water chamber, abandon storyline.
Season 2; found a dry entrance via mining tunnels, abandon storyline.
Season 3; we got renewed? Seriously!? Wait a minute, I got it! Aztec Gold! Oh wait, wasn’t that our initial premise? Oh well, let’s wing it and see where it takes us.
Season 4&5; continued nonsense of treasure hunt

  2. I was so intrigued with this show but they jump from one storyline to the next. They overlook a meteorite! they overlook uranium! They overlook the other minerals found on the property which can be sold for lots of money. it’s not making sense. it’s all fake!

  3. These are all valid complaints to be sure!! Irritating. They’re truly sitting on a treasure trove of minerals that would make them wealthy beyond their dreams! Aside from that…..what about the unknown prehistoric snake rising from the depths? That man in a trance bent backwards near Chads trailer…..oh! What about the woman that committed suicide at the entrance of the ranch and some bizarre ambulance supposedly appeared to take the body but there’s no record of such ambulance call. Where’d the guy that was supposedly investigating all that?? The ex cop? Can’t think of his name.
Let us bring up that all of this is happening a mere 30 miles from Skinwalker Ranch! I’d bet money they’re connected by those tunnels and connected…..period!
Quite frankly with this season, I’m yawning more. I feel bad that Duane is suffering health issues however! Truly, I wish him well!
All that said, they owe it to their loyal fans to do several shows on updates alone to answer these questions we have! I’m sure some just are unanswerable at this time, but come on guys!!! We’re too long waiting and watching!! What gives?!
