‘Unexpected’ Kylen & Jason Surprise Relationship 2025 Update
Former Unexpected stars Kylen Smith and Jason Korpi are shocking everyone with a surprise relationship update. The two found fame on Season 5 of the hit TLC reality series, but he was one of the most despised cast members ever. So, what is the duo up to now? Keep reading for more details.
Kylen & Jason’s Shocking 2025 Update
Unexpected fans immediately wanted Jason Korpi removed from the show and their screens practically from the get-go. They found him to be controlling and rude when it came to his pregnant teen girlfriend, Kylen Smith. She even lived with him and his family, but he controlled who she could see and how often she could be around her parents. The hardest part for viewers was when he claimed an epidural would leave their son stoned. He was thrown out of the delivery room for causing unnecessary stress. Then, Jason and Kylen left the tell-all early when their co-stars told her she deserved better.
They did not return for the following season and are not active on social media. However, they did add a daughter, Oakley, to their family, and they seem to be going strong despite the hate. Recently, Jason shared that his kids and Kylen saved his life and changed him for the better. Now, they have been spotted out with their two children, still together, but Kylen was unrecognizable. Fans were used to seeing her pregnant during Season 5, but now, she is back to her old self and very skinny. Allegedly, when Jason, Kylen, and the kids were seen out, he was still as bad as ever.

Allegedly, the Unexpected alum ordered food for himself and only let Kylen, Xavier, and Oakley have chips and salsa. It was also noted that he is still repulsive, essentially the same person he has always been. When Jason shared that he had become a better person, no one believed him. More so, they wanted to know how long his new persona would last.
A Disturbing Romance
After the former Unexpected stars were seen out in the wild, it solidified how disturbing their romance is and always has been. Kylen Smith has appeared very vacant in recent appearances, and fans wish that she had gotten the help and love she deserved. Despite the show having been over for some time, viewers still hoped Kylen would realize her worth and get herself out of the situation:

There was a lot of fear and concern for Kylen, especially since she looked frail and lifeless. However, there is not much that can be done for Kylen. Someone stated that she is 20 now, so she is an adult and will make her own decisions. She does have so many people who are standing behind her, praying for the best possible outcome.
