‘6000-Lb Diaries’ SPOILER: Dr. Now ‘Very Concerned’ With New Patient

The 6000-Lb Diaries With Dr. Now is nearly halfway through its first season, and many fans were surprised by Dr. Now’s patients. Most of them are already fighting for their lives, seemingly much worse than the bariatric surgeon’s patients on My 600-Lb Life. Lifetime recently released a new preview for the upcoming episode, and it features a patient Dr. Now is “very concerned” about. Keep reading to see why.
6000-Lb Diaries: Dr. Now Gets Even More Challenging Patients
The first season of 6000-Lb Diaries has been a huge challenge for Dr. Now. Despite working for 12 seasons with TLC’s My 600-Lb Life, the surgeon was faced with patients weighing over 600 to 700 pounds each. Most of them are also young, which puts an even greater challenge on Dr. Now to change their habits. One of Dr. Now’s newest patients was Caleb, who was already fighting for his life at the age of 20. Fortunately, Dr. Now gave him proper diet regimens to help him lose weight and qualify for bariatric surgery. But the challenge is not over yet for Dr. Now.

But Dr. Now was shocked when Crystal said that she still eats four times a day.

- “Let’s give her some grace.. she lost almost 50 pounds and went from not walking at all to minimally walking to the door. And she accepts that it’s not enough but it is something 👏🏽 from NOTHING.”
