Does Josh Efird Have A Real Job?
For many seasons of Mama June, Pumpkin and Josh Efird have been seen raising their kids and even Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson. They have long struggled with June’s behavior and how she impacts their lives. Yet, no one was quite sure what the now-divorced couple did for a living. It appeared that Josh would leave Georgia for work. Then, he alleged that he was working with Alana’s father, Sugar Bear, but that was a storyline. Josh helped him out with one job, and the show took it in another direction. In a recent season, Josh’s card got declined getting gas, and he was worried about what to do.
Pumpkin was making money on social media and then started her own business, The Sisters Closet. For a period, Josh was handmaking rugs and showed off his skills. Now, with Josh and Pumpkin being seen at the lawyer’s office, deciding what to do about the divorce, many want to know what he does. They agreed on no child support since they would be alternating every week. Yet, does he have the money to take care of his four kids with Pumpkin, plus a newborn?

- I think that we’ve never seen josh work.Does he have a job?How does he make a living? I don’t even know what he has done for work.
Immediately, different jobs that Josh Efird has had over the years came up from fellow fans. They recalled him doing various tasks, but ultimately, it was concluded that he was a stay at home dad. Furthermore, he likely gets paid from the show.
Past Jobs
Mama June fans listed various jobs that Josh Efird held. One was working with Sugar Bear, plus doing landscaping. More so, someone stated that Josh had worked at an RV rental establishment. However, one person summed up his entire career:
- He worked with/for Sugar Bear, worked @the RV dealership/repair center and also somewhere out of state back when Ella was little & Jessie still “bunked on the sofa, he’d come home on weekends.
Despite having held these jobs in the past, there is no concrete evidence that he does anything now. Regardless, he seems to be a very active and loving father, which is an amazing job. Finally, he is still a big presence on Mama June: Family Crisis, so that likely fills his bank account.
