Dottie was full of positivity when she left the show. However, she faced many problems in life, especially financially. The difficulties may have also played a significant role in why her life spiraled out of control, leading to her passing.
Dottie Dead At 44
Dottie Perkins passed away at the age of 44. One of her FB friends shared the news online, who was devastated about her passing. The My 600-Lb Life star also has an online obituary featuring a wonderful message from her family. According to the obituary, Dottie passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. The reason behind her passing was not revealed, though it states that she had a “courageous battle with illness.”
Dottie’s family also said that she was a “true caregiver” who prioritized her family over anything. She finds joy in simple pleasures in life, such as playing games on her phone and visiting her friends and family. It was also said that she was just bedridden in her final years, but her spirit remained unbroken. Many people also left messages on Dottie’s obituary.
