Mama June star Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson surprises her social media followers in her latest post. The 19-year-old has been thriving in life and is currently pursuing a nursing degree. Things are also starting to get better between her and her mother, June Shannon. Their reality show has also been a huge success, with Season 7 currently airing new episodes. Mama June: What Is Alana Thompson Up To Today?
It has been a busy month for Alana. She and her siblings have been participating in interviews over the past few weeks. They’ve been endorsing the newest season of their reality show. At the same time, Alana has also been doing Q&As, giving some of the most recent updates about her family. In one of her interviews, Alana revealed that her mother has progressed drastically when it comes to being drug-free. Their relationship has grown in recent months.
But Alana still hasn’t talked to her father, Sugar Bear. Alana is currently studying at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. According to the Mama June star, she’s aiming to become a nurse, not just for herself, but also to fulfill her late sister Anna’s dreams for her. Alana is under a scholarship program that will cover $21,000 of her tuition fee.
Alana Debuts Whole New Gorgeous Look
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson recently took to IG to share a stunning photo of herself. The Mama June star debuts her new blonde wavy hair. According to Alana, The Funk Lady did an amazing job on her hair, and she would recommend it for people around Denver. Alana also shared her opinion about her hairstylist, saying that she was taken care of. She added, “You can tell she’s passionate about what she does, and it shows in every single detail from the way she consults with you, to how she styles and treats your hair with so much love. I’ve never once felt uncomfortable or out of place, and that says so much.”
Alana went on to say that there’s something special about being in a space where she can relax, and she felt it at the salon. Meanwhile, many fans were stunned by Alana’s new look. Others also mentioned how happy Alana looks today, implying that her life is heading in a positive direction.

Mama June: What To Expect In Upcoming Episodes?
WeTV has also released descriptions for the upcoming episodes of Mama June Season 7. According to the network, the fifth episode will feature Pumpkin’s attempt to date again after divorcing Josh Efird. However, Josh is not ready to let go of their marriage, which may cause more issues. The episode will also showcase Alana’s birthday tribute to her late sister, Anna, which took a chaotic turn when June took matters into her own hands.
The sixth episode will show Jessica’s “shocking” decision to disapprove of June. Fans can also expect more revelations about Josh and Pumpkin’s divorce.
