‘On Patrol: Live’ Moving To New Network?

Is On Patrol: Live moving away from Reelz and over to an all-new network? Many show fans have long asked where else they can watch the hit cop reality series. Unfortunately, there has only been one channel that showcased the drama. Yet, is that changing? Keep reading for more details on what is happening with the show.
On Patrol: Live Moving To New Network?
Although many viewers preferred Live PD, the reboot, On Patrol: Live, has amassed a major following. Fans tune in every Friday and Saturday to watch Dan Abrams, Tom Rizzo, and Curtis Wilson travel around America. They follow the different officers and counties as they protect citizens from some outlandish events. From driving on the wrong side of the road, to drunk driving, to regular pull-overs, there is never a dull moment. Plus, those who are being questioned or in trouble can be quite entertaining, and the officers never hold back.
As of now, OPL can only be seen on Reelz, which can also be streamed on Peacock for anyone who has a subscription. This is not always convenient, and fans have been asking about alternative ways to catch the show. Now, it has been announced that OPL is headed to YouTube. However, those who want to watch it will need a subscription, which has often been problematic:
- We have a big announcement from the Law & Crime network that will bring #OnPatrolLive clips to #YouTube. This official #OPLive channel will be “OfficialOPLive.” Go subscribe now!
It is unclear when this will take effect, but it is likely to make some viewers very happy knowing that they have options.
YouTube is far easier to access and widespread for fans of On Patrol: Live. Therefore, it could be extremely beneficial for all who want to catch up. Of course, some worried that the move to YouTube would mean it was leaving Reelz. That is not the case at all, but rather more outlets to watch the series every week. This seems to be very good news all around, and everyone is hopping on board.
Make It Happen
On Patrol: Live fans were very excited that the show would be more widely available. Again, there were some questions about the move. Would YouTube offer full episodes or just clips, and how does Reelz factor in? As of now, both streamers will have the same content offered for everyone interested. For such a long time, viewers have asked the community various ways, aside from Reelz, to participate in the series. Now, everything is coming together, and some questioned why it had not been done sooner:
- Why they weren’t doing this before is baffling to me. Not only does it bring in viewership, but also ad revenue. A&E did this with Live PD
- I googled it and from what I can tell, Law and Crime is a channel on that can be included with a YouTube tv subscription, and the Law and Crime channel on regular YouTube has at the top of its page an option for a free trial.
There were also a lot of questions, based on the description, whether it will be full episodes or just clips. Moreover, fans wanted to know if new episodes will be available. As of now, the speculation is that it will be just the best clips from over the years, but that is yet to be seen.
