NCIS fans have waited a long time for Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo to reunite as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David. Now, Paramount+ has announced the premiere date and details for NCIS: Tony & Ziva. Here is what all fans need to know.
Paramount+ Announces NCIS: Tony & Ziva Premiere
Over a year ago, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo announced that they were reprising their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David in NCIS: Tony & Ziva. Now, Paramount+ has finally announced the premiere date.
On Tuesday, the network went to Instagram to announce the September 4 premiere date. The new spinoff series will drop on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
The steamer will drop the first three episodes on September 4. Then, they will drop a new episode every Thursday with the season finale on October 23. There is a total of 10 episodes in this spinoff series.
Unlike the other spinoffs Tony & Ziva is not based in an office. They are running all around Europe.

What is NCIS: Tony & Ziva About?
Paramount+ is premiering the new spinoff series, NCIS: Tony & Ziva on September 4. What is this series about? NCIS fans saw Tony leave the team to go to Paris to care for his daughter Tali. Father and daughter believe that Ziva is dead.
However, a few years later, Ziva is back. She helps the team solve one important mission. When she was done, she was headed to Paris to reunite with Tony and Tali. Now, they are co-parenting. But, their relationship lacks trust. There are fleeting moments of a spark, but this is a relationship in need of a rescue.
Now, Tony’s security company is attacked. Worse yet, Tali’s life is in danger. She is not going to be an easy kid to convince that she needs to be cautious, no matter how much Tony and Ziva try to explain their pasts. Soon, their hand is forced and they are fugitives.
As they run across Europe to avoid being killed and try to solve this case, they relearn why they love each other. But will they survive long enough to enjoy their happily ever after?

Spinoff’s First Look Trailer Set Records
Last month, when the NCIS: Tony & Ziva First Look Trailer was released, it set network records. Deadline reported that in just seven days, the teaser trailer tallied up an incredible 93 million views! This was through “broadcast, social and digital.” That includes YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more. This was the most of a Season 1 trailer for a Paramount+ series. Ever.
How does it compare to The Mothership? When NCIS first premiered, it was years before social media took over media. Therefore, it is impossible to compare. However, this was more than Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, one of the streamer’s biggest series.
Furthermore, this just shows how frenzied the fans are about this reunion. Most of the Tony and Ziva romance on The OG was offscreen. Now, fans get to watch them fall in love on screen, while taking down some bad guys. In this series, the pair find out that they are better together than apart. Best of all, there are ten episodes that will tell this tale.
