‘Golden Bachelor’ Cast Member Getting Married Soon?
The Golden Bachelor spinoff was a hit with viewers. It gave the franchise a new perspective as senior citizens tried to find love again later in life. Despite the show’s popularity, the couple from the first season, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist, didn’t last long. But a new season is coming later this fall.
Several of the ladies from the first season have found love after leaving the show. One Golden Bachelor alum hinted that she’s getting married to a Frenchman. Keep reading to find out what’s going on with the senior contestant.
Theresa Nist Reveals She’s Dating Someone
Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner married in a TV wedding just two months after the proposal aired. However, the marriage was short-lived. He filed for divorce in April, three months after their televised nuptials. He recently revealed that he’s in a new relationship, a year after the end of his marriage to Theresa.
As for his ex, Theresa Nist blamed Bachelor producers for rushing them into marriage. She’s kept a low profile since the divorce, keeping her dating life private. But she recently appeared on the Almost Famous podcast hosted by Bachelor Nation’s Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins.
She teased that she’d been on several dates with the same man, though she was reluctant to call the mystery man her boyfriend. But another Golden Bachelor alum isn’t so shy about her dating status.
Golden Bachelor Lady Reveals New Relationship
Susan Noles was a contestant on Gerry Turner’s season but was sent home in Week 5. While she didn’t find love with him, she did form a close friendship with Gerry and Theresa. Susan officiated their ill-fated TV wedding last year.
Fans hoped to see her on the upcoming season of Bachelor In Paradise after it was revealed that the Golden contestants would join the young contestants on the beach this season. However, before the spinoff could start filming, Susan Noles revealed on social media that she found love away from the reality TV show.
She revealed that her new boyfriend, Frederic, is a French man over a decade younger than she is.
Hints At Marriage Coming Soon?
Susan met her new beau during one of her many trips to St. Martin. She often visits the island with her Golden Bachelor bestie, Kathy Swarts.
During one recent trip to the Caribbean island, Susan Noles and her boyfriend stopped at the jewelry store to look at rings. “Just looking,” she captioned the Instagram post.
Her social media followers are beyond happy that Susan Noles found love. However, many felt it was too early to be looking at rings or talking about marriage.

One fan wrote, “Wait till the honeymoon phase is over…then decide to put a ring on it. Anyways, glad to see you happy with your fella and wishing you the best.”
Another added, “Noooo no no not so fast. What is the point of looking at rings? Unless. Way too soon.”
One Golden Bachelor fan used Susan’s own words of warning. “Your voice is resonating in my ear saying, “Don’t rush. Enjoy one another without any future expectations.”
