Bruce Willis’ Daughter Shares Sad Update On His Dementia Battle
It has not been easy for Bruce Willis and his family, as he has been declining for a few years now. He is not the same as he once was, and now they are dealing with Bruce’s new normal. The movie star was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022. Then, the following year, the father of five girls was also diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. His family has tried to stay active with him, while his eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, made him a grandpa in 2023. Now, Rumer is sharing a sad update on her father, on what should be a very special day for dads.
It was Father’s Day on Sunday, June 15th, and Rumer shared photos of her and Bruce throughout the years. She also included one of him and her daughter, which was very bittersweet. In her caption, she noted that there was so much she wanted to tell her father and ask him about. However, she knew that she couldn’t, and that was a hard pill to swallow. At the same time, she added she was so grateful that he was still around to be her father and to be with her baby girl. There was so much she could not help but miss as his health declined.

Rumer Willis also stated that she could still see her father’s eyes light up, which was an incredible sight. Bruce Willis shares Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah with his ex-wife, Demi Moore. He also has two girls, Mabel and Evelyn, with his current wife, Emma Heming Willis. Celebrity friends immediately chimed in with their deepest sympathies as some were going through the same thing and understood Rumer’s pain.
