In recent The View scenes, the topic of the rise of no-contact orders on college campuses came up. This also brought to the forefront the notion that college students these days appear to be more avoidant of conflict. To this, Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “You have to learn how to co-exist with someone. It’s kind of a critical life skill.”
The View: Producer Opens Up About Strained Relationship With Joy Behar
With this recent topic of restraining orders on The View, Joy Behar was quick to relate Alyssa Farah Griffin’s comments to the strained relationship she has with executive producer Brian Teta. Joy Behar said, “Sure, it’s like me and Brian. He could take out a restraining order against me, right?”
The camera then cut to the executive producer, who was off-stage. In response to Joy Behar’s question, he responded, saying, “I’ve looked into it.” While this was a playful, tongue-in-cheek response from Teta, it’s no secret that he and Joy Behar have had their issues over the years.
However, just like Alyssa suggested, Joy Behar and Brian Teta have found ways to make their working relationship work, even if it does come with issues. So, it does not look like Brian will be taking out a restraining order against Joy just yet.
