Mama June: June Shannon’s Comments About Pumpkin & Josh
June recently took to IG to open up about Pumpkin and Josh’s separation. According to the Mama June star, the two have made their own mistakes, adding that the reality show won’t reveal everything about what went down between them. However, June believes that the kids are still the most important, and she’s glad that the two are doing a 50/50 co-parenting every other week to stay present for their kids. June is also happy that their kids have adjusted well to their parents’ separation, and it seems things are only getting better for Pumpkin.
Things Are Looking Up For Pumkin & Josh
Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird recently had an interview where she opened up about her status since her divorce from Josh. According to the Mama June star, things are going great, especially with her new relationship with Darrin Kitchens, who happens to be her ex-husband’s cousin. Lauryn added that they get along well, and Darrin would often attend family get-togethers.
Darrin is also doing well with Pumpkin’s kids, and it makes her happy that she’s in a healthy relationship. She went on to say that she no longer feels like begging for the bare minimum anymore due to Darrin’s consistent presence. Furthermore, Pumpkin expressed how happy she is about being able to fill her own cup after lifting everybody else’s for years, saying that Darrin makes her feel like she’s back on top. She said, “It’s kind of nice just because I grew up filling everybody else’s cup and I kind of felt like I was always leaving myself a little empty.”
Mama June: Lauryn Efird Opens Up About Co-Parenting
Lauryn Efird also opened up about the huge shift fans will get to see in Season 7. The Mama June star said she and Josh will try to navigate doing 50/50 parenting after 10 years of marriage. Viewers will get to see their struggles with co-parenting. Lauryn even admitted reaching a point with Josh where they’re just like roommates with kids to take care of. She continued that neither one of them is happy, but they’re doing everything to prioritize their kids.
The seventh and eighth episodes of Season 7 will air on June 13 and June 20, 2025, respectively. Both episodes will feature the aftermath of Josh and Lauryn’s divorce. It will also show June Shannon’s fight for Kaitlyn’s custody and her goal to fulfill Anna’s final wish.
