1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton is addressing the criticisms she’s getting following her recent public appearance with her siblings. The latest episode of Season 7 featured her graphic excess skin removal surgery. Many viewers are excited to finally see the results. Fortunately, Tammy is already sharing new photos of herself showing off her new look. But Tammy faced backlash for getting back into vaping, and she has something to say about it. 1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton’s Smoking History
Tammy has had bad smoking habits even before she underwent bariatric surgery. After losing over 500 pounds, the 1000-Lb Sisters star still had her dark times getting back into her vices. It came to a point where she almost didn’t get a skin removal surgery after she confessed that she’s still vaping. Nicotine is very dangerous for someone in her condition and while trying to get surgery. Tammy quit vaping so she could qualify for the operation, which she eventually got with the help of proper protein intake. But Tammy later returned to vaping, and many fans are not happy about it.
Tammy Breaks Silence About Falling Back To Vaping
Tammy Slaton recently took to IG Stories to share a photo of herself with a message to her critics. According to the 1000-Lb Sisters star, everyone is freaking out about her vaping again. However, she clarifies that she wasn’t smoking nicotine, making it safe for her body.
Tammy added that she hasn’t smoked nicotine for over a year. She also thinks that it’s ridiculous how everybody has something to say about everything but themselves. It’s clear to see that Tammy is upset about getting questioned for her vape. But others support her and believe she deserves to vape after all the hard work she has done for her body.
1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton’s Stunning Transformation
Despite getting spotted vaping, many 1000-Lb Sisters fans were also surprised to see Tammy’s massive transformation. Her wounds from her excess skin surgery have fully healed, and some think she’s now a totally different person. Tammy’s surgery took an entire day with 12 people continuously working all over her body.

Tammy Slaton has yet to share her current weight, but the previous episode showed that she’s at 201 pounds before her excess skin removal surgery. After the operation, the surgeons were able to get 7 pounds of excess skin, bringing Tammy somewhere below 190 pounds.
