Mama June Responds To Josh Blaming Her For His Divorce
Mama June star June Shannon is back with a shocking response following the statements of her son-in-law, Josh Efird. Things were already complicated in the first episode as Pumpkin makes a shocking decision about her marriage to Josh. However, Josh believes June has something to do with how his marriage fell apart. Mama June: Why Did Lauryn & Josh Efird Divorce?
Josh and Pumpkin’s divorce was finalized in September 2024. Mama June Season 7 covers what went down between the two. In one of their statements, the ex-couple revealed that their marriage has reached an “irretrievable brokenness.” The two share four children. But they assure fans that they will still be present for their kids. According to Lauryn, she and Josh will have 50/50 custody over their kids, adding that they will take turns per week on who’s caring for the kids. But while the agreement seems to benefit both parties, it seems Josh still has some resentment against his former mother-in-law for how his marriage turned out.
June Responds To Josh Blaming Her For His Divorce
June Shannon recently reposted a clip from the latest episode of Season 7. The Mama June star responded to Josh Efird’s statements about how June’s addiction to drugs brought so many problems to the entire family, especially his marriage. Josh even said that it came to a point where they would go to a hotel just to hide from June’s alleged drug dealers, who are taking away their money.

According to June, it’s no secret that Josh hasn’t liked her for a long time. However, she believes he should take accountability for his actions and not have to blame anybody for what happened to his marriage. But some fans are not siding with June’s statements, saying that Josh positively impacted the family.

Mama June: What To Expect From The Upcoming Episode
WeTV has already released a synopsis for the third episode of Mama June Season 7. According to the network, the episode will feature Pumpkin dropping a bomb on Josh. Alana will also confide in a friend amid all the chaos that is happening in the family. The episode will also show Josh being devastated about what happened to his marriage, while June Shannon heads to court to fight for Kaitlyn’s custody. She will also fulfill Anna’s “final wish.”
