Hallmark’s ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’ Season 2 Hosted By Jonathan Bennett, New Twist
The Hallmark+ reality with heart series Finding Mr. Christmas Season 2 just finished filming and will be premiering this holiday season. In addition, Jonathan Bennett has revealed a big change for the next season.

When Hallmark+ premiered Finding Mr. Christmas Season 1, this was the network’s first reality series. Calling it “reality with heart,” this series was an original idea from Hallmark Hunk Jonathan Bennett. People kept asking him about starring in a Christmas movie.
He realized that this could become a great reality series that had iconic Christmas tropes for challenges. These include cutting a Christmas tree, the classic meet-cute, and even working with dogs.
Over the weekend, the Laughing Place attended the ATX TV Festival in Austin. There, the Mean Girls star talked about filming Season 2. Firstly, Bennett confessed his love of the genre.
I love how Hallmark movies make me feel. And I’m obsessed with Christmas–and with reality–so it just made sense.
However, when The Christmas House star pitched to the network, they insisted that they were not into doing a reality show. However, he was persistent. Moreover, he could connect how this series and what fans saw in a Christmas movie was a natural series. He wanted them to find the “best” star. “That means having kindness, charm, humor–you need to be someone the audience wants to root for.”
Melissa Peterman, who is the lead judge in this fun series added that good looks are not enough to cut it as a Hallmark lead. “They have a twinkle in their eye, a sense of humor. You want to watch them mow the lawn shirtless, but you also want to have a meaningful conversation with them.”
Most importantly, the contestants were cheering each other on. Peterman called this a “fraternity,” as the competition brought out the best in each other including internal support.

Ezra Moreland Won Season 1 Of Hallmark Reality Series
The winner of Hallmark’s Finding Mr. Christmas was Ezra Moreland. He starred alongside Jessica Lowndes in the final 2024 Countdown To Christmas movie Happy Howlidays.
In addition, Ezra will be in a 2025 Countdown To Christmas. He will be in Janel Parrish’s movie Christmas On Duty, playing Fred. Fans should learn more about that movie and other holiday movies by September.
Finding Mr. Christmas Season 2 Will Have A New Twist
Recently, Finding Mr. Christmas Season 2 completed filming in Utah. Not much is known about the upcoming season. Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story star Holland Roden is confirmed to appear in the series.
Also, Jonathan Bennett teased that there is a new twist. “Season 1 set the bar. Season 2 has a surprise element we didn’t have before. Even the contestants didn’t see it coming.”
