Recently, Miller made headlines for a medical lawsuit. According to TMZ, the Dance Moms star is suing a Los Angeles hospital over malpractice concerning a 2020 spinal surgery.

Miller allegedly claims that a foreign object was left in her body during the surgery. The suit is against the hospital involved, Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital, and two doctors.

The surgery originally appeared to be successful. However, Miller claimed she began suffering from abdominal pain. She reportedly shared the issue with various medical professionals, including the two doctors involved with her previous surgery.

According to Miller’s complaints, her concerns were initially ignored until one of her doctors performed a CT scan. Afterward, it came to light that a “retained catheter” was left inside her body following the procedure.

A Spokesperson For Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital Has Also Released A Statement Over The Suit

According to the publication, Miller is suing for “medical negligence, professional negligence, medical battery,” and other charges. She is reportedly asking for at least $1.4 million.

Miller has seen a variety of doctors in recent years. This is due to a battle with Burkitt lymphoma, a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The disease has impacted Miller’s ability to walk and she has been using a wheelchair for mobility.
