RHOBH fans saw Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi in their marriage and had a lot of questions. He was a high-profile lawyer, whereas she was a performer. Plus, she was thirty years his junior, so it felt like she was just there for a lavish life. She maintained that he was her biggest supporter, and that was what helped them stay in love. By 2020, she filed for divorce on election day to bury the story. She knew it was over, and he had allegedly been unfaithful to her. It then came out that he had stolen millions from his clients who were in desperate need of their money.
Erika came under fire for what she may have known and how she acted. Viewers and her co-stars felt she had little remorse for the victims, but she claimed that she did. She also shared how Tom had memory issues, but somehow he was fit to stand trial. Now, he has been sentenced to seven years and three months behind bars at 86. Tom must also pay $2.3 million in restitution to victims and a $35,000 fine, per the sentencing on Tuesday, June 3rd.

At this time, Tom Girardi must surrender by July 17th, 2025, which is a little over a month from now. It was initially requested that he get 14 years, but that was cut in half. He is currently living in a memory care facility while his RHOBH ex has been performing overseas. Erika Jayne supposedly saw how much she stood to lose if she went forward with a divorce, so they never finalized anything. She will appear on Season 15 of the hit Bravo series.

Some joked that President Trump would pardon him ASAP, as he just pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley. At the same time, many do not think he will live until the end of his sentence. he will be 93 by the time he is released. Erika has previously stated that she did not think he had much time left to live.
