Ozzy Osbourne Thinks He Will ‘Die’ On Stage

Ozzy Osbourne is set to give his final performance with Black Sabbath this summer. Recently, the singer shared some fears he’s had ahead of the big show. He also talked about how he’s getting ready for the event.
Ozzy Osbourne Will Reunite With The Other Founding Members Of Black Sabbath For An Event This July
Ozzy first came to fame as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Considered a pivotal band in the history of heavy metal, Ozzy performed alongside Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward.
Over the years, Ozzy has become well-known through other ventures. This includes his solo career and his work as a television personality, appearing with his family on the MTV series, The Osbournes. However, Ozzy hasn’t forgotten his Black Sabbath roots.
As previously reported, Ozzy is set to reunite with the founding members of Black Sabbath for one last gig during the “Back To The Beginning” event. The band will hit the stage at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, 2025.
That said, Ozzy is aware of the challenges he’s facing as he is getting ready for the show. However, he assured that he was determined to make the show. As reported by The U.S. Express, he told SiriusXM, “By hook or by crook, I am going to make this f—— gig if it is the last thing I do. Well, it will be.”
Ozzy also talked about mental health before the big event. He shared, “My head is crazy. ADHD, I have that badly. I will have done the show and died a death before I even started my exercises, so I try and put it on the back burner.”
Ozzy Also Talked About His Health Regime Ahead Of The Big Show
The singer admitted there have been times when he almost gave in to negative thoughts. As he shared, “I talked myself into blowing the gig. It was only two bloody songs. Sharon goes: ‘Just don’t think about it.’ I obsess about a bloody bird c—— on my show.”
Ozzy promised that, in spite of his fears, he would “give 120 percent.” Still, it won’t be easy getting over his fears. He noted, “Believe you me, I still get stage fright. As soon as you get on stage, it’s like s— or bust.”

To prepare, the musician also talked about his health regime. As he added, “I have got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It’s hard going, but he’s convinced that he can pull it off for me. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. It’s endurance. The first thing that goes when you’re laid up is your stamina.” He also revealed he gets his blood pressure checked multiple times a day, as well as keeping track of his heart rate.
As previously reported, the event will help raise funds for Cure Parkinson’s, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. Ozzy himself was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019, going public with the news the following year.
