‘FWAW’ John Sansone Admits He Didn’t Join Show For Love
John Sansone may have found love with Claire Dirette in Season 3 of Farmer Wants A Wife, but he recently revealed that love was not the major motivating factor for joining the show. So, what did he have to say about what drew him to apply for the program?
Farmer Wants A Wife: Fans Love John Sansone And His Mustache
Even though John Sansone has faced criticism from Farmer Wants A Wife fans for “not being a real farmer,” show fans still love to keep up with his updates online. Even before it was revealed that he chose Claire Dirette in the end, he amassed quite a following on various social media platforms.
Despite being in the public eye and the extra scrutiny that comes with it, John seems to have a great attitude about the whole thing. Along with that, he also approaches his newfound fame with a sense of humor, which is something that his many followers can appreciate about him.

FWAW: John Reveals The Real Reason He Wanted To Be On The Show
While John Sansone did end up finding love with Claire Dirette at the end of Farmer Wants A Wife Season 3, he recently revealed that finding love was not his primary motivation for wanting to join the show.
According to John, he approached the process from more of a business mindset, as he believed that the added exposure would help him in other ways. John was recently a guest on the Trading Secrets podcast hosted by Jason Tartick, and he had plenty to spill during his appearance.
It turns out, the idea that he would leave Farmer Wants A Wife with someone who he actually liked was “secondary” for him. He went on to say that being on the show was an “insane opportunity” to put himself out there, almost as if it was a bonus that he ended up with Claire Dirette in the end.

Farmer Wants A Wife: John Sansone Dishes On More Of His Show Experience
Throughout Farmer Wants A Wife Season 3, in addition to some detractors calling out John Sansone for not being a real farmer, viewers also accused him of joining the show for clout. Based on recent tea from John, he essentially did join the show for clout, and the fact that he found someone in the end seems to be the cherry on top.
During this recent podcast appearance, John went on to say that hiding their relationship for months was “tough.” Even though filming only took a month, there is a long time between when a show wraps filming versus when it actually airs. However, John went on to say that production paid for several trips for him to visit Claire in Chicago and more.
Speaking of opportunity, John said, “I’ve seen people go on reality TV and stuff and walk out of it with, you know, major long-term brand deals or something like that.” He went on to add, “There were so many different avenues that somebody could take from it. It’s another thing to throw on the resume that gets people talking.”

No matter what his initial motivations may have been, it’s clear that John did get clout and the girl in the end. So, he really got the best out of the Farmer Wants A Wife experience.

I didn’t like him from the start. As for getting business, his family is wealthy. What does he need “clout” for? He has never wanted for anything, and after he becomes a lawyer, he will be even more wealthy. I feel sorry for Clair; she will get dumped when someone else catches his eye.
