Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Scott Disick may no longer be together, but the two still remain in each other’s lives, as they share three children together. Recently, the couple have come into conflict with each other over their children’s welfare. A few inside sources have also weighed in on the story.

Kourtney is a member of the Kardashian family of Keeping Up with the Kardashians fame. Reality show fans saw her on-again, off-again relationship with Scott Disick, with the two starting their relationship in the mid-2000s.

The two would go on to have three children together, Mason, Penelope, and Reign. However, Kourtney and Scott would ultimately break up in 2015. In 2022, Kourtney would marry musician Travis Barker, with the two having a son, Rocky, in 2023.

While no longer together, Kourtney and Scott still factor into each other’s lives due to their children together. Recently, however, the former couple have come into conflict concerning the children’s education.

As noted by Daily Mail, Kourtney and Scott are mostly on friendly terms with each other as they co-parent. However, conflict arose after Kourtney shared her plans to homeschool her children during an episode of her sister Khloé’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.

Kourtney claimed that her children wanted to be homeschooled. However, as the publication noted, fans criticized the idea, calling her “out of touch.”

For her part, Kourtney wondered, “Why do kids f*****g go to school?” She even claimed school was a “dated” practice.

Another Source Shared A Few More Reasons Scott Wants His Kids In A Traditional School

Fans weren’t the only one who to be critical of Kourtney. According to the publication, an inside source also claimed Scott was upset over the idea.

The insider claimed, “Scott strongly disagrees with Kourtney’s parenting style and finds her comments irresponsible.” They continued, “Scott values hard work and sees school as essential and would never allow his kids to not attend.”

Interestingly, Kourtney was the first of her siblings to graduate from college. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University. Afterward, she attended the University of Arizona. Despite her background, she is no longer too fond of education.

The source claims this isn’t lost on Scott, who “feels Kourtney has changed.” They added he would allow his children to be homeschooled “over his dead body.”

According to the source, Scott has also been unhappy with Kourtney’s new spouse and stepchildren’s influence on his children. They shared, “Life at Kourtney and Travis’ house can be chaotic and Scott is especially uneasy with the influence of Travis’ daughter, Alabama. He makes clear that while Travis may be Rocky’s dad, he will never be a father to his kids.”

A second source shared Scott has another reason he feels his children should attend a traditional school. As they shared, he “is concerned the children would lose the opportunity to make friends and to establish independence” without regularly meeting peers their own age.
