Even though the overwhelming majority of Farmer Wants A Wife fans believed that John Sansone was going to pick Lily Ayres at the end of Season 3 of the reality dating show, he shocked many viewers when he chose Claire Dirette in the end.
Because of the different ways they were raised, as well as the different ways that they both view things and the world in general, many viewers believed that things would not work out between John and Claire. However, it seems they are both ready to prove all of the doubters wrong.

According to John Sansone, he recently exposed one of Claire Dirette’s secrets. He revealed that since getting with him, Claire is no longer a vegetarian. This is one of the many things that was different about them before they got together, with Claire saying, “It’s kind of funny because we talk about how different we are on the show, and one of the big things is I grew up vegetarian and he goes hunting.”
John was then quick to chime in, adding, “Claire’s also not a vegetarian.” To this, she was sure to add, “Anymore.” As this secret is coming to light, she was still worried about how her mother would take the news. It’s clear that some of John’s ways have rubbed off on Claire since they got together as a couple.

Because John Sansone and Claire Dirette are so fundamentally different, many Farmer Wants A Wife fans are curious about what it is that allows them to get along so well in their relationship.
Recently, Claire told PEOPLE, “I think we did a good job of being really true to ourselves on the show, and we have done our best not to change that. I don’t think we’ve changed drastically at all. So we just celebrate our differences and learn from each other.”
John Sansone echoed that sentiment, adding, “I think that’s what’s kept us going so strong and also helped us to navigate our differences so well because we’re able to just have normal, cool-headed conversations and learn from each other.”
