‘American Idol’ Family Reunites For Big Concert
Season 23 of American Idol came to a dramatic conclusion this week. Some of the contestants from the singing competition are reuniting. Keep reading for all the details.
Jamal Roberts, with his powerful voice, amazing fashion, and dynamic stage presence, was crowned the winner over talented and charismatic country singer John Foster in an exciting, nail-biting season. John Foster sang an original song for his best friend who passed away; the song impressed the judges, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, to push the young man through. Jamal Roberts’ lady love gave birth to his third child while Jamal was working hard on the competition show. It all paid off because he walked away the first-place winner.
American Idol Family Reunites For Big Concert
American Idol fans have a chance to see some of the top contestants from Season 23 live this summer. In partnership with BMG, the show is hosting a concert in June.
Both the runner-up, John Foster, and the winner, Jamal Roberts, will perform. Other performers include Slater Nalley, third-place runner-up Breanna Nix, Gabby Samone, and Kolbi Jordan.

The concert takes place at the entertainment complex 6th & Peabody in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 4. According to the poster, the show starts at 4 p.m. and is free for everyone to attend.

American Idol Fans React To Win
Jamal Roberts also shared news about the upcoming concert on social media. Excited fans took to the comments to congratulate the singer on winning American Idol.
Throughout his time on the reality show, he was open about his faith and gave credit to God. So many of the comments reflected the same ideology.
