Despite being convicted of second-degree murder for her role in the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, Gypsy Rose was released on parole at the end of 2023. However, there is a practical reason why they live in separate places. It turns out, while Gypsy raises her daughter with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, they must do so from two homes.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard cannot share a home with her boyfriend due to stipulations of her parole. Unfortunately, this means that the two-household formula is something that these two will have to upkeep, including all of the difficulties and challenges that come with it.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Opens Up About The Struggles Of Living Apart
Managing one household is enough of a struggle for most people. However, living apart and going back and forth between two households is something that presents even more problems. Gypsy Rose has been candid about the struggles she has faced while trying to manage this, and she has been open about all of the things she has been dealing with.
Gypsy is not allowed to live under the same roof as Ken until her parole is complete, which won’t be until June 25, 2025. So, if there is one silver lining through all of this, it’s that these two won’t have to wait much longer.

According to Blanchard, she recently opened up about the restrictions, saying, “So, having that restriction, in particular, poses an issue. And so that is something that we had talked about extensively. And, also, I mean, this is a new relationship in a sense. Even though we have a history behind our relationship and a foundation, we’re just getting back together after a 5-year separation.”
