Cameron Mathison Is Filming GAF Christmas Movie Sequel
This week, Cameron Mathison shared on Instagram some big news. He is filming a Christmas movie. Best of all, he is reunited with his Home Sweet Christmas costar, Candace Cameron Bure. How do we know this? On IG Stories, he shared an adorable photo of CCB. She is wearing all red, sitting in the chair, on a beautiful set that is decorated for Christmas.
Cameron’s caption is, “Christmas movie beauty🎄.”

Based on Creative BC, it looks like the pair are filming A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding. The filming schedule in Vancouver is between May 12-30. In addition, Paula Elle is the director. She directed the first movie.
In January, the pair had announced on a Great American Family Facebook Live that they would be making the Christmas movie sequel for Great American Christmas 2025. This was CCB’s first non-mystery movie sequel. The good friends enjoyed working together in the first movie.
Although CCB missed Mother’s Day because of filming, but Cameron did not appear until a few days later.
What Is A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding About?
Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison are filming A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding in Vancouver. What is this movie about? Currently, Great American Family has not shared a press release with the synopsis.
However, the OG movie is about a successful attorney who returns to her small hometown. She co-inherited a maple forest farm with her childhood friend. As they spend more time together, they realize that they have found something special.

Based on the sequel’s title, holiday movie fans should expect a beautiful Christmas wedding movie. Already, the network has shared the back of the gorgeous dress that CCB is wearing in this movie.
Therefore, it is likely that this movie will include some wedding planning, as well as the big event. Perhaps their wedding cake will include some of the farm’s maple syrup.
This has been quite a journey for Cameron and Candace. Originally, their first Christmas movie together was Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells. That was set to film in July 2024. However, when it came to getting it ready for production, CCB quickly realized that due to “production elements,” this was not an ideal movie to make.
Therefore, there was a delay before they wound up making Home Sweet Christmas. Although this was not their original plan, this turned out to be the best plan as they are now filming this Christmas sequel.
