That means that Alison Sweeney is back as the sleuthing backer in Pie To Die For: A Hannah Swensen Mystery. In addition, Victor Webster and Barbara Niven are both back for more sweet mysteries.

According to the synopsis, “When Hannah’s customer and Delores’ theater rival is murdered, Hannah must find her killer in order to save her mother’s reputation. Chad and Hannah’s romance blossoms.”

In the first movie, To Barcelona, With Love, Alison portrays Erica. An American expat, she loves Barcelona. She works translating books from English to Spanish. However, her dream is to get published. Ashley portrays Anna. She wrote a book called Barcelona, Mi Amor. This book is a huge success. That is because Erica’s enhanced translation really brings the romantic city to life.
Anna visits Barcelona to host a reading at Nico’s bookstore. Erica has been friends with Nico for a long time. Although her feelings are more romantic, the two have been firmly in the friend zone for years.
Speaking of friends, Erica and Anna soon become besties. They challenge each other, as well as encourage each other to embrace their special talents.
The premiere of To Barcelona, With Love is on Saturday, June 7, at 8 p.m. Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.
Next, To Barcelona, Forever, it is five months later. Erica and Anna head outside of Barcelona. Pretty soon, one of them finds romance. The premiere of this second movie is on Saturday, June 14, at 8 p.m. Eastern on the Hallmark Channel.
