Kelly Clarkson’s Loyal Staff Feel Betrayed By Her Latest ‘Ungrateful’ Move
Fans have noticed that American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson does not seem too happy with her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. She has expressed how the demanding schedule can interfere with her time with her kids. Now, rumors about her continue to fly as her staff says they feel betrayed her Kelly and her latest ungrateful move. Why do they feel this way? What did she do? Keep reading to get all the details.
Kelly Clarkson’s Staff Doesn’t Seem Happy With Her Show
Kelly Clarkson has seemingly been unhappy with her talk show for quite some time. The former American Idol has said that her demanding schedule interferes with spending time with her two children, River, 10, and son Remington, 9.
There has been talk that she is considering calling it quits and walking away from The Kelly Clarkson Show when her contract is up in 2026. Comments she’s made both on the show, in interviews, and most recently at a performance in Atlantic City indicate her unhappiness. Now, her loyal staff reportedly has some opinions on it all.
Just a few years ago, Kelly decided she needed a change. So she and her staff and crew packed up and left California to have the show become based out of New York. At the time, Clarkson said, “I feel like a weight has lifted. That move was very needed. I think the thing I’m most excited about with Season 5, on a selfish level, is just showing up to work smiling and actually meaning it.”
Most recently, Kelly has continued speculation that she may want to walk away from the show when she spoke to fans at a recent concert. She said,
“We haven’t done a show in a while, y’all, ’cause I have a talk show. It’s like a whole other job. We are bummed ’cause we love doing shows, and it’s hard to fit it in, so it’s cool when it does work out with the schedule and it’s cool to get to see your faces and feed off y’all.”
Her Staff Feels She’s Being Ungrateful
Kelly Clarkson’s staff feels that she is not grateful. An inside source spoke with the Daily Mail recently said, “Kelly Clarkson is ungrateful, and she fails to recognize how her staff uprooted their lives in Los Angeles and left their homes to relocate to New York because they believed in her and they loved working for her.”
The source went on to say that the staff feels abandoned by her. If she really is thinking about quitting the show, then her staff feels disrespected because she has not voiced that to them. Kelly has not shared with them how she’s feeling or that she is even considering the possibility.
What would happen if she did choose to leave? Sources say that if Kelly Clarkson does walk away from her talk show, there are options the network would love to engage in. They would love to have Hoda Kotb take over and have her own show. Of course, she may not even want the opportunity.
However, right now, everything about Kelly Clarkson leaving her show is a rumor. Nothing is confirmed at this time.
