However, when it came to Anna, she chose to spend the day with her friend and her friend’s mother instead, painting a drastic picture of where things currently stand between her and Amber.

With everything that Anna Johnston has been dealing with since this family feud began, she recently took to social media with some things to say on the situation. According to Anna, she said, “She made a post. It said Happy Birthday. Acting like we talk and we’re good and everything.”
Anna went on to spill even more tea, saying, “Let me just tell y’all something. She didn’t even tell me Happy Birthday at all. She didn’t bother to call me, text me, or nothing. So. But she wants to post me. Like, seriously?”

We only know what’s going on by what the media and social media shows us. I’m pretty sure there is more to the story than we know. I’m not saying Anna is not telling the truth but just not the whole truth. I don’t think it should be all over social media either. They need to go to family counseling and mom and daughter counseling and get over all this.
I think everyone tends to be a bit harsh as the situation unfolds. Family dynamics are difficult at times because individuals are each unique and have different ways of coping and communicating.
As a mom and grandmother I can say our daughters families are VERY different and we have difficulty being as involved with one of them because of our SIL. He is a manipulator, wolf in sheep clothes and after 20+ years their “compound” life is uncomfortable at best.
Most interaction is soured by a mean spirited person our baby married.
Parenting is a continuous journey…empty nesting is ROUGH and there are adjustments to make and it is hard!!! Everyone feels Amber is the commander. That needs to ease up for her sake as well as everyone else but that will happen as time goes on. Amber has a good heart and great love for her family. That is rare and yes, at times, overbearing and now the family is 7 Little Johnstone plus 2 and everyone is an adult. Eight adults and a beautiful little girl in the same home and I am in awe they get along as well they do.
I pray everyone begins to communicate and work towards resolution.
I know people call Amber out. Cut her some slack and understand Anna has overused social media in a negative way….it is absolutely the worst way to resolve problems.
Please talk to each other….Amber needs to loosen her “control” and be confident Trent and she instilled values in the kids(adults) and they all have the tools resolve problems and make good decisions! Set boundaries, communicate and love one another.
It’s time for Jonah, Liz, Brice and Leighten to find their own places and add yet another dynamic to adjust to.
