Carrie Underwood Makes Huge Career Change
Carrie Underwood is already one of the most recognizable names in all of country music. Now, she is looking to leverage her popularity to launch an entirely new venture. So, what is the American Idol winner and current judge doing this time around to switch things up?
Carrie Underwood Has Already Conquered Country Music
Over the last 20 years, Carrie Underwood has been one of the biggest names in all of country music. She has cemented her place among the greats with the body of work that she has put forward and all of the performances she has had in countless cities over that time.
If that were not enough, she has put on other successful shows like her Las Vegas residency and more. However, with everything she has accomplished in the music industry, it seems Carrie Underwood has her sights set on something completely different.
Underwood Making Major Career Change
Based on the latest updates from Underwood, it looks like the American Idol judge has her sights set on doing something completely new. According to The US Sun, Underwood has officially filed documents to launch “a new fashion and cosmetics business.”
Underwood and her legal team filed to trademark the name “Copper Rose” back in September of 2024. Things falling under this umbrella appear to include products like cosmetics, fragrances, perfumed soaps, and more. However, it looks like she wants the Copper Rose trademark to cover a range of other products as well.
In addition to cosmetics, Underwood wants to include other items like handbags, wallets, luggage, and even pet products like leashes and collars. If that were not enough, she also wants it to cover things like apparel, swimwear, sleepwear, and footwear, among other things. So, it looks like Underwood is leaving herself open to explore different avenues under Copper Rose.
At the time of this writing, Carrie Underwood’s request is currently pending with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. So, this is definitely going to be something to keep an eye on moving forward.
Carrie Underwood Has Been Busy With American Idol
As American Idol fans have seen, Carrie Underwood has also been busy with her new gig as an American Idol judge, and viewers continue to love seeing this full-circle moment from her. She came back to the stage that launched her career but in a completely different capacity, and her many fans love to see it.
While she was already popular even before she took this American Idol gig, becoming a judge put Carrie Underwood back in the spotlight in a different way, much like it did for Blake Shelton when he joined The Voice. So, just from a business standpoint alone, it makes sense for Underwood to want to launch a new venture as millions of people are watching her every week on the popular reality singing competition.
