‘Bachelor’ Daisy Kent Shares Broken Heart Over Little Girl
Daisy Kent won fans over when she was on The Bachelor. She was the second contestant after Season 25’s Abigail Heringer to have a cochlear implant. While Abigail was deaf from birth, Daisy gradually lost her hearing as a teenager. During her time on Joey Graziadei’s season, Daisy educated the public about deafness and cochlear implants. She continues to raise awareness after leaving reality TV. The blonde beauty recently visited a children’s hospital and shared why one girl broke her heart.
Why Daisy Kent Won’t Be On Bachelor In Paradise
Daisy Kent left The Bachelor before the final rose ceremony because she knew that Joey Graziadei belonged with Kelsey Anderson. She chose to step aside and leave with dignity instead of suffering through a breakup. She was allegedly offered the role of The Bachelorette last year but turned it down. Fans were hoping to see Daisy on Bachelor In Paradise.
The spinoff returns this summer for Season 10 after not airing in 2024. Only a few of the cast members have been confirmed so far, but we know Daisy Kent won’t be there. She reconnected with a college boyfriend after The Bachelor. They now live together in Las Vegas.

Bachelor Runner-Up Visits Children’s Hospital
Daisy Kent continues to use her platform to raise awareness about cochlear implants. She recently visited a children’s hospital in Chicago to interact with kids and read them a passage from her book. The reality star became a published author in 2023 when she published the children’s book Daisy Doo: All the Sounds She Knew.
She shared photos from the event on Instagram. The book reading was in collaboration with Child’s Voice and Cochlear America.

How One Girl Broke Daisy’s Heart
But there was more to the day than she shared on Instagram. Daisy Kent took to TikTok to share more about meeting the kids. She revealed that an interaction with one young girl broke her heart.
According to Daisy, one young girl asked her if boys had ever teased her or been mean to her at school. The question made the reality star realize that the little girl likely experienced teasing or bullying at school.
“There was this moment yesterday where I completely crumbled inside and I can’t stop thinking about it,” she said about the conversation with the little girl.
It upset her to think of the young girl being bullied, and she advised her that some people can be mean. She told the little girl to only let people who aren’t mean into her life.
Daisy Kent reminded her social media followers that it’s important for young kids to see representation, whether it’s deafness, a wheelchair user, or another disability.
“That’s the reason why I think it’s so important for kids to see adults and see people that have things that make them unique. For example, a cochlear implant, being in a wheelchair, different things because it’s good for them to be exposed to that and see an adult and see somebody who has been through something that they’ve been through,” she said.
Above all, the Bachelor alum reminded her followers to just be kind.
