Allison Sweeney Was Excited To Use Her Spanish In To Barcelona, With Love
Earlier in the year, when Alison Sweeney started production on these Hallmark movies, the Hannah Swensen star spoke to TV Insider about these movies. She revealed that she was excited to film in Spain. “I’m really thrilled about this, and looking forward to filming in a new country and practicing my Spanish.
I mean, I talk a big game and have definitely thought I was good at it, but now I have to act in Spanish, I have to talk to people in Spanish, and we’ll see how I do.
When Ali and Ashley started to develop these movies, Ashley had asked her friend if she spoke any languages. This is what sparked their journey to film in Spain. Therefore, it will be exciting to see Alison speak Spanish in this movie.
Soon, the two pals added Julie Sherman Wolfe to the mix. “So, the three of us started brainstorming together. And that’s one of those amazing things, like, here we are and, now it’s actually happening. It’s so cool.”
As for her character, Erica, Alison admits she is nothing like this character. This is why the wardrobe department has been so key in fleshing out her character and brings the character to life even before Alison starts filming the movie.
With locations in many parts of Spain, To Barcelona, With Love promises to be a special movie.
