Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Talks About Relationship And Marriage
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Alana Thompson is opening up about how her life has been going lately. In doing so, she discussed her plans for the future and whether they involve marrying Dralin Carswell.
Thompson spoke to E!News and spilled the tea on how things are going in her relationship with boyfriend Dralin. According to Honey Boo Boo, her relationship is going great.
When asked if fans can expect to hear wedding bells in the future, she revealed when she would like to tie the knot. Thompson said that getting married and having a wedding is not at the top of her priority list right now. The question of a wedding seems logical since the two debuted their relationship way back in 2021.
However, getting married doesn’t appear to be happening anytime in the near future. She said, “Not until after school, probably. Just because it’s so expensive and a wedding is a lot of work.”
Even though it won’t be happening soon, Alana did say it was definitely in their future. Plus, she admits she does want to have children. She said, “I want to have kids eventually. I don’t want to have a lot of kids—I want maybe two, that’s it—but not for a long time.”
As far as whether or not she wants them to be a part of reality television, she admits she’s not sure. Fans have seen her for years on television, and while it brought some great times, it also brought some hardships and lows.
She Talks About Her New Lifetime Movie
Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson also talked about her upcoming movie on Lifetime. Fans will see everything about her life in the new biopic. She shared that she isn’t sure about her kids being on television at a young age because of what she went through.
Thompson remembers all the hate she would get online, and she doesn’t want her own children to have to endure that. So, Alana says she will probably wait until they are old enough to decide for themselves if they want to be on reality television.
Alana has gone through some rough times, including bad times with her mom, Mama June Shannon. However, now, she admits that she is in a good place. She couldn’t be happier at the moment.
Her new movie I Was Honey Boo Boo premieres May 17 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Lifetime.
