Kristen Doute has revealed why Jax Taylor’s absence was good for the show. Many people thought that his absence was much needed, and the cast needed a break from his rage. However, Kristen also thinks it was a good thing and has revealed why she thinks that. Jax has been trying to get better for himself and his son. Jax Taylor And His Absence On The Valley
Jax Taylor was on the first couple of episodes of The Valley. However, he then decided to check himself into a mental health facility. This was the best thing he could do for himself. However, the group was able to hang out without Jax and drama involved. During his time at the retreat, he was still rage texting Brittany and some of the cast members, like Kristen. This was exhausting for everyone. However, Jax is now sober and trying to better himself for his son.

Kristen Doute has revealed why Jax Taylor’s absence was good for the show and everyone in it.
“I think having Jax away… physically, literally away in the facility for part of the summer was just so healthy. Not only for Brittany, but for everyone else. Because Jax and I don’t mean just in regards to filming the show, but just Jax is such a presence, and he demands to be a presence. So I think having him gone for a minute allowed the rest of us to work on the relationships that needed to be worked on.”
Viewers saw Zack and Janet be able to work on their friendship, as well as some of the other cast members.
It seems as though Kristen thinks Jax’s absence was good for everyone. This is because they were able to focus and work on their relationships with others in the group rather than focusing on Jax and Brittany’s divorce and drama. Everyone has had Brittany’s side in the situation. Seeing the way the castmates felt about Jax on the show really made fans realize that he was awful to Brittany and did need to get help.
