Kim Kardashian Feared Being Raped
For nine years, Kim Kardashian has held her 2016 robbery inside. Although she has occasionally spoken about the trauma she endured, there is so much more to the story. The mother of four has two children at the time, North and Saint. North was three while Saint was barely two, so that made it even more horrifying knowing she may not make it home to be with her babies. Kim was in Paris when the gunpoint robbery occurred, and she lost $10 million worth of jewels. Even one of her engagement rings from her ex-husband, Kanye West, was a part of the casualties.
Now, after all that she has been through, she is testifying in the robbery trial. Moreover, she is offering a more candid look at what was going through her mind during that time. When the incident was happening, Kim explained her nightmare:
“The other had the gun up to my back. That’s the first moment when I thought should I run for it and run down the stairs. That’s when I realised I should just do whatever they say.”
She was terrified to move and attempt an escape as she felt she had a better chance if she obliged. At one point, Kim was thrown onto the hotel bed while only wearing her robe. That was another turning point as the robe flew open, exposing her bare bottom:
“The robe opens up and everything is exposed on my bottom half. I was certain that was the moment he was going to rape me. He pulled me towards him and I said a prayer and tried to mentally prepare myself.”
As Kim Kardashian recounted the episode, she was visibly emotional having to go back to that place. She noted that, on the bed, the gun was held right to her, and she believed that it was over for her. The Kardashians star felt she would be shot and killed.
The Nightmare Was Not Over
Even after Kim Kardashian shared her fears of being raped and shot, it seemed the horror was not over just yet. She noted that when it first started, she assumed it was a terrorist attack, given things happening in the world:
“I was still in such shock, because honestly a lot of terrorist attacks were going on in the world and me and my friends were talking about what was going on in the world.”
The mogul quickly realized that they were after her jewels, and they made away with millions, including her $4 million engagement ring. Admittedly, Kim thought she would die, especially when she was thrown onto the bed. However, he moved her to the bathroom floor and then frantically exited. Kim noted that she did say a prayer for her family and best friend, as she feared them finding her deceased in the hotel. She just wanted them to be okay after all was said and done.
