While he was able to save Hope Valley from losing their water, there were too many other issues that stalled him from making the big changes he envisions. Therefore, what is next for Christ McNally’s character?
In a recent interview with the Official Hearties Aftershow, one of the show’s writers, Allie Devereux, teased Hearties about what is next for the dashing and very single Mr. Bouchard. “Well, I don’t want to get too specific, because I certainly wouldn’t want to spoil the pleasure of discovering the great fun we have in store for Lucas.” Then, she unpacked a few small details that she is very excited about.
I love what we’re planning for him. I’m so excited. He’s not going anywhere. He’s an essential part of Hope Valley, and we’re going to bring him back and weave him into the life of the town in personal and professional ways that are going to be really satisfying.
This will certainly bring a lot of relief for Team Lucas who have seen a limited amount of their favorite the past couple of seasons. However, the season ended with Lucas and his potential love interest, Edie Martell, an attorney who inherited her uncle’s ranch in the Hope Valley area.
Will Miranda MacDougall, who portrays her, return for Season 13? That remains to be seen. The best news is that there is a plan to do more with Chris McNally’s character.
When Will Hallmark Start Filming Season 13?
There has been a lot of talk about When Calls The Heart Season 13. When should Hearties expect to see the premiere? For the past few years, they start production on the long-running Hallmark series in July. They usually complete filming in November. However, nothing has been officially published yet. That should be forthcoming.
