Rachael Ray Attacked With Shocking Accusations By Fans
Rachael Ray recently shared a video with fans to celebrate Mother’s Day. However, the video also brought about accusations from some fans. That said, other fans came to the star’s defense.
Rachael Ray Looked Back What Her Mother Taught Her In A Special Mother’s Day Video
Ray is a celebrity cook who first came to prominence through her Food Network shows. She is also known for hosting her own namesake talk show from 2006 to 2023.
Recently, Ray has also become known for hosting a variety of shows on FYI. Recently, she shared a video with fans reminiscing about her mother to commemorate a special day.
Recently on Instagram, Ray shared a video in honor of Mother’s Day. As she shared in the caption, “My mom taught me a lot more than how to cook. She showed me how to make something outta nothing—and how to do it with love.”
In the accompanying video, Ray talked about living in New York as a young woman and struggling financially. She admitted, “I didn’t want her to feel scared for me. So I would never ask for money. And I didn’t have any.”
The Celebrity Cook Also Talked About One Of Her Famous Food Network Shows
Ray then touched on her Food Network show, $40 A Day, saying, “That was my budget for a whole week. I would buy a week’s food and I only had $40.” Ray added that she “always felt so grateful that I came from people that taught me how to buy dry beans, a few vegetables, very little protein, and to live on that for a long time.”
“And I am deeply grateful for it. It has changed the course of my life. It’s made my life what it is. And that’s what I try and share in these shows as often as I can.”

Ray continued her caption, “Whether it was dinner on the table or how to pick yourself up when things got tough… she just had it. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, mother figures, and caretakers out there—this one’s for you.”
Some Fans Made Accusations Concerning Ray In The Comments, Others Defended Her
Taking to the comments, a few fans, however, shared concerns over Ray herself while watching the touching video. As one fan asked, “Rachel. Are you okay? You don’t look well.”
Another fan wrote, “I love the message but Mama is drrrunk.” In a follow-up, the fan wrote, “I’m not being rude…she’s drunk. She’s been accused of being drunk on her show, people are and have expressed concerns over her appearing drunk on her show…and she’s drunk.”
That said, many fans also came to Ray’s defense, sharing that she was just getting older. One fan shared the comment, “I pray to God that none of you ever grow old and become ill….because if you do, you won’t look great ever day. You won’t care about how you look because you don’t feel well. Please respect her. She seems so very humble and kind. Just leave her alone and respect her.”
Another shared, “Guys, it’s documented that’s she’s had personal struggles. Health is a gift, let’s be kind or silent. We never know what people are going through.”
Ultimately, fans also took the opportunity to reminisce about Ray’s shows, thanks to her mention of $40 A Day. Others talked about how her mother must be proud of her accomplishments. Some comments included:
