‘Mama June’ Anna Cardwell’s Husband Gives Her Special Shout

Anna Cardwell’s Husband & Daughter Miss Her Every Day
When Anna Cardwell was a teenager, she became a mother for the first time to daughter, Kaitlyn. Unfortunately, the father’s identity was never disclosed, possibly unknown. Then, she met and married Michael Cardwell, with whom she had another daughter, Kylee. Their marriage did not last all that long, but he maintained a presence in her daughters’ lives. Shortly after the split, Anna met Eldridge Toney, and they were together until she passed in December 2023. When Anna found out how sick she was, she and Eldridge made it official, and she even wanted Kaitlyn to go to him if and when she passed.
Mama June has since gotten custody, but Eldridge is very much a part of the girls’ lives. He went to see Kylee for her birthday and has been with Kaitlyn for dances. It seems vital to him to ensure that he is a presence and is still there for Kylee and Kaitlyn, to honor Anna. Now, with Mother’s Day happening on Sunday, May 11th, he ensured that his late wife was recognized. Eldridge posted a photo of himself, Anna, Kylee, and Kaitlyn smiling. They were extremely happy, and he wrote:
- Happy Heavenly Mothers Day!! We love and miss you everyday!
Anna Cardell’s widower ensured that she was tagged in the post despite no longer being here. Eldridge wanted everyone to know how special she was and how much she is missed every single day. That is the most beautiful sentiment, as he never wants a birthday or holiday to go by without recognizing her impact. This next season of Mama June: Family Crisis will showcase its usual drama but dive into Kaitlyn’s custody battle. It will go on between Michael Cardwell and June.
The Girls Now
Kylee lives with her father in Alabama, while Kaitlyn is in Georgia with Mama June and Justin Stroud. Not everyone agreed with the judge giving June custody. They saw how she was with her own children, stealing, and estrangements. However, Kaitlyn allegedly wrote a letter to the judge asking to stay with her grandmother. Along with that, her family is there, so she gets to see her aunt Pumpkin Efird and cousins. Sadly, she does not get to see her sister, Kylee, which is extremely sad. After fans saw that June was fighting for custody, supposedly on Anna’s behalf, they had a lot to say:
- Please go back and watch Anna’s last season; she literally says she DOES NOT want her child with June at all.
- But, YOU ARE UNFIT to care for anything, even a pet rock!!!
- She did such a great job with the others. Yeah let’s give her to June H*ll No!
- Yep ya did a bang up job with your own kids including stealing their money 🙄🤦🏼♀️
Someone even stated that June likely paid someone off to get custody of Kaitlyn. It will be interesting to see how and if Eldridge Toney plays a part in the upcoming season. Luckily, he will always properly honor Anna.
