Alison Sweeney’s latest Hallmark news includes her good friend Ashley Williams. The two went to Spain to film two very special movies for the Passport To Love collection in June.

Alison Sweeney Stars With Ashley Williams In Two Movies Filmed In Spain
Hallmark stars Alison Sweeney and Ashley Williams are best pals who wanted to do a project together. In January, Hallmark announced that the two leading ladies were filming two movies in Barcelona.
Best of all, Sir Ron Oliver directed both movies. Last year, he filmed all three Groomsmen movies in Bulgaria, Greece, and Italy. This one is in Spain. Pretty incredible. Lastly, Julie Sherman Wolfe wrote both scripts. Everyone knows she wrote Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.

With all of these elements, this promises to be two incredible destination romcoms.
However, now the stars of the two movies, To Barcelona, With Love, and To Barcelona, Forever, have shared some info on social media. On Instagram, the Days star shared a cornucopia of photographs. In addition, she wrote a bit about this project.

What Are The Two Hallmark Barcelona Movies About?
This year’s Passport to love includes Alison Sweeney and Ashley Williams in two movies that take place in Barcelona, Spain. The first movie is To Barcelona, With Love. The premiere of this Hallmark romcom is on Saturday, June 7, at 8 p.m., Eastern. This movie features Alison in the lead, but Ashley also stars in the movie.
Erica, an American translator, secretly revises a novel set in Barcelona. “Everything is fine until bookstore owner Nico invites the credited author, Anna, to the city for the book signing.”
The second movie is To Barcelona, Forever. This premiere is on Saturday, June 14, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. This movie features Ashley, but Alison is also a supporting character.
In this second movie, Anna returns to Barcelona to see her friend, Erica. Best of all, Anna is there for Erica and Nico’s big engagement party. Things seem to go well until Anna suddenly finds herself engaged. How did this happen? Her fiancé is trying to save his family’s legacy. He thinks Anna can help him.
Both of these movies were filmed on location in beautiful Barcelona.
