‘Shark Tank’: Where To Buy The Rocco Smart Fridge?
Shark Tank fans often would like to purchase the items they saw showcased to the “Sharks.” One item fans might be interested in is the Rocco smart fridge. Information has already come out on how viewers can purchase the items for their home.
The Rocco Smart Fridge Allows Customization Without Letting Out The Cold
Sam Naparstek came up with an idea while staying at rental apartments while working for the luggage company, Away. He noticed that wine fridges were becoming a common sight.
However, they awkwardly took up too much space in living rooms. These fridges also looked the same despite being around for decades.
Sam took it upon himself to develop a more aesthetically pleasing alternative. He even hired an Italian designer to come up with sketches for a new product.
Around this time, Alyse Borkan was working with home renovation and rental projects. Through this, she realized that many appliances were developed as afterthoughts and wanted to create something people actually wanted in their homes. Teaming up with Sam, and not being that into alcohol, they decided to expand on fridges that catered to all sorts of drinks.
The two wanted their Rocco fridge to fit into a home that didn’t look like a typical fridge. However, part of the appeal is always on the inside. Things like bottle and can sizes, as well as temperature zones, can be customized.
The Product, Which Will Be Featured On Shark Tank, Comes With Two Shipping Options
A camera and a smartphone app even allows users to see what’s inside without opening the door. This app also allows settings to be changed remotely.
The fridges were also designed to be sturdy and strong. In other words, the product was meant to be something users would keep for years and not have to regularly replace. The Rocco fridges first came out in 2023, and were worth around $1,500. While intended as a premium product, the fridges sould out in around two weeks.
As noted on the Shark Tank products website, “By early 2025, Sam and Alyse were scaling production to meet backorders. They continued handling most of the work themselves, staying close to the direct-to-consumer model they had chosen from the beginning. They also started exploring new variations and accessories that could extend the Rocco brand beyond the first fridge.”
The Rocco fridge product can be purchased on its own website. Notably, the product comes with a “10 year warranty.” One included accessory is a set of coaster cards.
Customers have two shipping options, either at the door or the white glove option. As the website explained, “White glove delivery orders are brought into your room of choice, unpacked, assembled, and packaging removed.” Both options also come with tracking information.
The Rocco smart fridge will be featured on an episode of Shark Tank airing on March 2, 2025. This functions as the eighteenth episode of Season 16.
