There is so much talent this season that Carrie Underwood said she would not have wanted to compete against all of this. However, they are narrowed down to the Top 10 now. Next week, they will be narrowing it down to the Top 8 and then the Top 6. The winner will be chosen on May 18. The contestants have to have a lot of talent. Josh King Ignored Mom’s Wishes And Slayed Song At 17

Josh King ignored his mom’s wishes and sang a song at 17. He explained how this happened. His mom asked him to keep the song he had learned, not change it to a song he had just learned, “Home” by Michael Bublé. He was singing at a David Foster concert.

So, I started singing Michael Buble’s ‘Hold On’ and then he stopped me and said to sing a little bit of ‘Home’. I can only imagine the look on my aunt and parents faces given the conversation we had just had on our way to the theater. I’m sure my mom stopped breathing completely for that moment. Thank you David Foster for helping me pull off ‘Home’. Thanks to David Foster’s encouragement that night, I sing ‘Home’ all the time now at the airport and hospitals but have since added harmonica to it. It was honor to sing for you for that moment. I learned a lot of great lessons that night.

It seems as though Josh King loved Michael Bublé’s song “Home” so much that he wanted to sing it. However, he wasn’t going to because his mom advised him not to. Little did he know, David Foster was going to ask him to sing some of that song without any planning. It was a crazy coincidence. However, he did amazingly, and everyone was impressed.
