Gypsy Rose Blanchard Admits Fearing For Her Life At Event

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is opening up about fearing for her life at a special event. The new mother has been out and about for a long time, sharing her story and promoting her career. Yet, what made her scared that she would not be okay, and when did this happen? Keep reading for further details.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Feared For Her Life
It has been a little over a year since Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison early. She was supposed to serve a decade sentence but was released on parole after 85% of her time. In the time that she was picked up and taken home, she filed for divorce, reconnecting with her true love, got pregnant, and had a baby. She also wrote a book and landed a Lifetime reality series. Gypsy has also done a plethora of appearances to share her story and discuss prison reform, even meeting with Kim Kardashian.
She has not stopped sharing her story, but there was one time that she feared for her life while at a special event. Gypsy has shown that she has stalkers who drive around her parents’ home, and that was concerning. Now, in the latest episode of her Lifetime reality series, Gypsy was preparing for a book signing. Unfortunately, the bookstore she was signing at began to receive a lot of threats aimed at Gypsy. Mike Stanfield, who is Gypsy’s former defense attorney, and current manager, shared the information with her over the phone:
“As with most things in our world, it will not be smooth. Let’s talk about the bumps here. The first thing is that over the weekend, the trolls came after the bookstore hardcore. They were calling the bookstore nonstop, they have been sending them tons of emails, putting tons of bad reviews the works.”

Obviously, this news scared Gypsy Rose Blanchard to the core. The thought that people were so against her that they would report to hate tactics was more than enough for the then-pregnant Gypsy:
“It’s pretty scary whenever you have trolls online that cross over into the real world. I have a lot of anxiety. I don’t want to put myself at risk situations where everybody in creation knows where I’m going to be and at what time.”
Admittedly, she was not just scared for herself but also for her unborn daughter, Aurora. She struggled to understand how she could safely protect Aurora when so many people did not care for her. Gypsy and her boyfriend, Ken Urker, chatted and she noted that “This is how people get murdered.”
Weighing The Decisions
Gypsy Rose Blanchard started to see that this may not be the best or safest idea, and could cause more harm than good. However, despite her trepidation, she opted to go through with it. It was vital to the bookselling process, and she needed to do it in order to sell what she had to. She noted that there were 600 books that had to be sold, and she was determined to get the job done. Fortunately, the bookstore worked with Mike Stanfield to get protection for the event, especially after receiving a funeral wreath:
“We just had a funerary wreath brought to the bookstore location, and on the card it has listed as the deceased’s name Claudine and Gypsy Blanchard. They need to get rid of it. So we are turning this over to the police, because that seems marginally threatening to me.”
Luckily, everything went off without a hitch and Gypsy Rose Blanchard was protected. She was grateful to the bookstore for accommodating her and ensuring she was safe. More so, she loved meeting all of the genuine supporters who cared for her.
