Easter Sunday Episode Makes People Uncomfortable
American Idol has had a lot of talent this season. However, there was an episode that made some of the viewers and crew uncomfortable. On Easter Sunday, the show had a religion-based night. The contestants were required to sing a song about faith. Some found loopholes. However, the crew revealed that it was Carrie Underwood who was pushing for this episode to happen. While it made some of the crew uncomfortable because they thought it was inappropriate, they did not want to cross Carrie. So, they kept their mouths shut about this. The episode did cause some controversy. However, for the most part, viewers enjoyed the show and what it stood for.
Luke Bryan Defends Carrie Underwood To Angry Crew
The American Idol crew has not been too happy with Carrie Underwood lately. She has been ruffling some feathers with some of the decisions she has made. However, Luke Bryan has stepped in and defended her to the angry cast and crew.
“Luke is her biggest fan and always has her back if he hears something said about her or she’s not getting something. He’s always stepping in to help when she’s struggling or to defend her if someone’s not happy with her. Lionel seems to enjoy Carrie as well but it’s Luke who really seems to stick up for her the most. Things started great with her but the longer she’s been a judge, the more feathers she has ruffled. The crew thought at first she was nervous and distant but I think she’s just cold, even if that’s not her intention. It still hasn’t clicked with her that this is a worldwide franchise with hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars on the line,”
The two were not close before the show. Now, they have grown a strong friendship since they share a lot of similarities.
It seems as though Luke had Carrie’s back and always does when the crew questions her. They are not too happy with Carrie being a judge, and some do not want her to return next season. However, she has done well in the eyes of the fans. She is trying to figure things out and navigate being a judge for the first time. What do you think about Luke defending Carrie?
