‘The Kardashians’ Hulu Spin-Off Coming Soon, Details
The Kardashians are getting a Hulu spin-off that is coming very soon, but what will it be about? Their current reality series follows the ups and downs of the KarJenner family. So, will this be specific to one sibling, or is it something completely different? Keep reading for more details.
The Kardashians Hulu Spin-Off Coming Soon
In April 2022, the KarJenner family made their way to Hulu with The Kardashians. They had done twenty seasons on E! for Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Then, they realized that it was time to end the series and start fresh. It has not gotten the same reception as their OG series, with viewers feeling it is too Khloe and Kim Kardashian-heavy. During its six-season run, there has been one special episode when Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tied the knot. Yet, it seems like there is no time like the present to launch a spin-off with the family.
On Tuesday, April 22nd, Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick appeared at Hulu’s Get Real House. It was the first one ever, and it was there that they broke the good news about a spin-off. The mother of two had this to share:
“It’s very exciting, very new, very excellent. We’re excited to continue developing.”
The series will tentatively be called Calabasas Behind the Gates, and the premise will revolve around friends and neighbors of the KarJenners. Their stories will be told on the reality show so fans can get to know the family in a different and new way. Executive vice president at Disney, Rob Mills, went into further details as to what viewers can expect:
“We all want to know what’s happening behind the gates of Calabasas—who are all these people in the extended lives of the Kardashians? So, we’re developing a show that we’re actually, at least for now, calling Calabasas Behind the Gates.”

As of now, it is unclear if the KarJenner family or Scott Disick will make appearances on the show. Yet, Khloe Kardashian did share this tidbit: she believes that her elusive brother, Rob Kardashian, will appear on The Kardashians when it returns.
Khloe Spills The Tea
Aside from sharing The Kardashians spin-off that is in the works, Khloe Kardashian had more tea to spill. She noted that her siblings all get paid the same for the reality series. Plus, they do have control over what is seen and left on the cutting room floor. That does take away from the reality element of it all, but they do not seem to mind. However, Khloe attempted to clarify what she meant by that:
“But it’s more vanity things that we would cut.”
When fans and followers saw Khloe and Scott Disick at Hulu’s Get Real House, they shared that they would love to see them have a spin-off:
- I would love a Khloe and Scott show ❤️❤️
- On @khloekardashian podcast, I kept thinking , these two need a show together! Especially going back to their original podcast in the bathtub back in the day! Epic!!!!
- They need they own reality
As of now, that is not happening, but maybe down the line, Hulu will listen.
