Boston Rob Mariano Is Done With Reality TV, Details

Boston Rob Mariano has made a name for himself with a variety of reality television shows. He’s even been on shows, both as a contestant and a host. However, Mariano has hinted that this part of his life might be coming to an end.
Boston Rob Has Appeared On Shows Like Survivor, The Traitors, & The Amazing Race
Robert Mariano, also known as “Boston Rob,” is arguably best known for appearing on various seasons of Survivor, being considered a legend of the game. Being the Sole Survivor of Survivor: Redemption Island, he also competed on Survivor: Marquesas, Survivor: All-Stars, and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, and Survivor: Winners at War.
Mariano has gone onto have a prominent career in reality television. He’s been part of The Amazing Race, The Traitors, and Deal or No Deal Island. In fact, after appearing as a contestant on Deal or No Deal Island‘s first season, he was brought back as the host of the series’ after show.
Following his recent elimination from Season 3 of The Traitors, however, Boston Rob has revealed that he’s planning on taking a break from reality television. Speaking with People, he shared, “At this point, I’m kind of just hanging out.”
Right now, Mariano said he wants to spend time with family. As he explained, “I don’t have a desire to go back and compete in that realm right now. I’m going to take a little break; the kids are off for the summer.”
Mariano has had a career that many people only wish they could have and he hasn’t taken that for granted. He noted, “I truly feel like I’m the luckiest person in the world. I didn’t expect to be still doing it after 25 years, so never say never. You never know what’s going to happen.”
In fact, Mariano assured fans that this isn’t necessarily the end of his reality television career. He promised he would “be on your screens again soon.”
Mariano Admitted What Show He Is Know For Varies From Place To Place
Reality shows aren’t just an important part of Mariano’s career, either. He met his wife, Amber Brkich, while filming Survivor: All-Stars. The two later became engaged during the show’s live finale. CBS also notably aired a two-hour special about their wedding, Rob and Amber Get Married, back in 2005.
Mariano also noted that what people know him from varies from place to place. In Europe, for example, he is better known for The Traitors. Mariano shared, “You have that whole Bravo world where I think it introduced a whole new subset of people that watch reality TV to me.”

“And now I hear a lot of people are going back and watching the old Survivors and the old Amazing Races and stuff. It’s kind of cool to see the younger generation seeing all the stuff I’ve been doing for 25 years.
Of course, Mariano’s biggest supporters are his wife and kids. He shared, “They’re pretty supportive of the whole thing. We all get a good laugh out of it for sure.”
