Season 2 of Farmer Wants A Wife ended with Ty Ferrell not choosing either one of his final two ladies when that final decision had to be made. Despite a strong connection with Megan Lay, her wanting to have children someday was something that Ty could not overlook. So, he chose himself in the end.
Even though Ty did not end his season of Farmer Wants A Wife with a lasting relationship, he has not let that stop him from living his life and doing his own thing. Ty showed off a dying oak tree that has been part of the land for more than 200 years. According to him, this is due to all the “chemicals” that are used nowadays.
Along with sharing the devastation around his farm, Ty wrote: “This breaks my heart. I thought the oak trees would be safe this year from the chemicals. This tree has made it through many lifetimes! She is as old as the state of Missouri. (1821) Tornados, lightening and anything Mother Nature produces she has spared her all these years. Now manmade chemical will soon kill her off just like other oak trees. All I ask @Bayer @Monsanto is make something that doesn’t target the oak trees!”
