Fans have known Colton Underwood through various shows of The Bachelor franchise and have continued to follow him over the years. Recently, Underwood shared a recent life update with fans on social media. All the while, Underwood also touched on his life goals.

Colton Underwood Went From Football To Bachelor Nation, & Now He’s Got A New Role

Underwood is a former professional football player. In 2014, he was signed on as an undrafted free agent for the San Diego Chargers. He had also been on the practice squds for the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles.

Following this, Underwood appeared in Season 14 of The Bachelorette, starring Becca Kufrin. Garrett Yrigoyen ended up winning the season, with him and Kufrin ending their engagement in 2020. Underwood also appeared in Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise. He then became the lead of The Bachelor‘s Season 23, with Cassie Randolph winning the season.

In 2021, Underwood came out as gay in an interview on Good Morning America. This made him to first lead in the Bachelor franchise to come out. Underwood had notably been the subject of the Netflix series, Coming Out Colton.

In May 2023, Underwood married his husband Jordan Brown in Napa Valley, California. Back in September, the couple also welcomed their son Bishop.

Taking to Instagram, Underwood recently shared a compilation video looking at how his life turned out. In the caption, he wrote, “Life has a funny way of working out.”

Some Fans Are Already Wondering What Underwood’s ‘Plan C’ Will Be Next

The video saw the Bachelor alum describe his life plan, or “Plan A,” as “Married by 31, house by 32, kids by 33.” This played over a clip of him stepping into a steamy hot tub.

The video then cut to his “Plan B,” in which Underwood added, “All of that and… become a stay-at-home dad.” This was played over scenes of him holding Bishop, carrying him around outside, and feeding him his bottle.

Fans took to the comment section to send their love while watching Underwood’s new family. A few other stay-at-home dads were also happy to welcome Underwood among their ranks. Some comments included:
