Wheel Of Fortune Military Mom’s 73K Win Is Bittersweet
When someone wins a lot of money on Wheel of Fortune, it is usually cause for celebration. They share what they intend to do with the cash, where they are headed, or who they are taking care of. Unfortunately, a recent win was filled with heartbreak. Illinois-based mother of two, Becky Lenski, was one of the contestants on Wednesday, April 16th, and was thrilled to be there. She shared that she had two boys, a freshman at Ole Miss and another who just enlisted in the Army. When she is not a contestant on game shows, she is a baker and has a generally peppy attitude.
Before making it to the Bonus Round, Becky won a trip to Costa Rica, something her kids were thrilled about. Her son, Max, who was about to turn eighteen, was asked if this would be a good birthday gift. Obviously, he was overjoyed. After Becky chose her final letters, she solved the puzzle of “Memorizing a poem!” in barely a second. This was a feat in itself, but then she saw that she had won $50K from the bonus round, bringing her total to $73,150. Her kids joined her for her big win, and they were just as overwhelmed and excited for their mom as she was. Sadly, a few people were missing from the moment that made it bittersweet.

Becky shared that she would have loved to share this Wheel of Fortune win with her parents. Unfortunately, they passed away, but she was confident that they were watching her up in heaven. This was Becky’s dream to be on the hit game show, and she made that a reality. Her followers were so happy for her having this opportunity and sent so much support.
The Love Is Deafening
Becky Lenski walked away with over $73K and a birthday trip for her son. Yes, her parents were not there, but she had so much love from viewers and fans alike. They were encouraging and shared their lifelong love of Wheel of Fortune. This was a commonality that many people have, as it is a great show to be a part of:
