Wendy Williams All Smiles Caught Partying, Fans Go Wild
Wendy Williams has made headlines while living in her assisted living facility, the Coterie, over the past few months. However, the former talk show host has recently been seen getting a few breaks with a few public outings. Recently, Williams could be seen enjoying herself at New York eatery, complete with dancing and sparklers.
Wendy Williams Has Been Seen At Quite A Few Restaurants As Of Late
Williams, the former namesake host of The Wendy Williams Show, has been living in an assisted living facility in New York City while under a guardianship. Notably, this also comes out amid the star being diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
Over the past few months, Williams has spoken out about her situation with various outlets. There have also been numerous moments over the past few months in which Williams has been seen being allowed to leave the facility, known as the Coterie.
Recently, as shared by Page Six, Williams was seen dancing while at a restaurant on Friday night. In fact, the Midtown East power eatery was one of a few restaurants the star has been seen at in recent months.
Williams was described as being “in great spirits” while at Fresco by Scotto. The publication also noted that Williams had recently been seen at a few other Manhattan hit spots, including Michael’s and Il Cantinori.
According to a “spy,” Williams could be seen having “walked into the restaurant with friends and family around 8 p.m. wearing a bright red coat.” Williams reportedly made an impression, as “everyone’s head turned to check [her] out.” The source added that she “looked great!”
Rosanna Scotto, who serves as the eatery’s co-owner and “Good Day New York” anchor, was there and was said to be “the ultimate hostess as she went from table to table.” Notably, other patrons said to be in attendance included journalist Geraldo Rivera, Food Network star Katie Lee, and reality television personality Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban.
Williams Notably Received Quite The Welcome From The Other Patrons
According to the source, Williams certainly made sure to enjoy herself during the outing. As they noted, “Just when you thought it was winding down, Wendy jumped out of her seat and started dancing with a man celebrating his birthday.”
The other patrons also showed their support for the star during her recent outing. As the source shared, “The entire dining room began chanting, ‘Go Wendy! Go Wendy!’”

Williams was said to be at the restaurant with her nice, Alex Finnie. Notably, Finnie has been seen going out to eat with her aunt during a few of her recent outings. They could be seen sitting in a banquette with Scotto and former “Good Day New York” reporter Baruch Shemtov. The group could also be seen with a dessert decorated with sparklers.
Prior to this, this past Thursday, Williams was also seen eating dinner at Il Cantinori by Washington Square. Once again with her niece, they were also joined by CNN anchor Don Lemon and his husband, Tim Malone. Reportedly, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin also made an appearance at Williams’ table.
