‘The View’ When Will New Episodes Air?
Fans may be disappointed when they turn on their televisions this week to realize there are no new episodes of The View. Why are viewers not getting their daily dose of Whoopi Goldberg and the other co-hosts? Keep reading to get the scoop and find out when new episodes will return to daytime television.
When Will Fans See New Episodes Of The View?
Many fans were not happy to see reruns of their favorite talk show airing this week. The View will air older episodes of the popular daytime show during the week of April 14. This is Season 28 for the show and it still continues to thrive. However, with its popularity, many wonder why there are no new episodes for the week. Is something wrong?
The answer to that question is no. There is nothing wrong and Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin will be back very soon. Where are they? The co-hosts always take a week off to relax and refocus during the spring season. This just happens to be that week.
The six co-hosts also take time off around the holidays. This past year it fell over Christmas and New Year’s. This seems to be the time they all take family vacations. A few of them shared photos from warmer locations and most included a beach.
Joy Behar’s vacation started a little earlier but not in a great way. Whoopi had to fill in for her last week because Behar was out sick. Hopefully, she recovered enough to enjoy her vacation time this week.
At the time, Whoopi said, “‘Wait — what the hell is going on here?’ Yes, it is Friday. But Joy is under the weather today, and you know, I can’t leave y’all hanging. So I wanted to make sure I was here.”
There may be no new shows this week but hang on tight. New episodes of The View will be back next week with their live shows. The show returns on Tuesday, April 22 at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ABC.
What Will Fans Be Seeing This Week?
Fans of The View will be watching some great reruns this week. So if you missed them the first time around, now is the chance to catch up.
What reruns will be showing? On Monday fans were treated to a great episode. The network reaired author Kara Swisher and singer Donny Osmond’s guest appearance episode. On Tuesday’s episode, Mindy Kaling was shown along with a tribute to Women’s History Month.
Wednesday ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith, as well as former White House press secretary Karine Jeane-Pierre, will be shown for fans to watch once again.
Thursday fans can tune in and watch the episode that featured Julian Lennon. Then finally on Friday, the week of reruns will conclude with Daredevil: Born Again actors Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio.
So, while fans patiently wait for the exciting live episodes of The View to return next week with refreshed co-hosts, they can tune in and rewatch these incredible episodes from earlier this season.
