‘Mama June’ Josh Efird Gives Up, Pumpkin Takes Away All His Hope
Mama June star Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon has kept many people curious about her status with Josh Efird since filing for divorce on August 1, 2024. Their official date of separation was listed as July 8, 2024. Many were heartbroken about their separation, though they both agreed on joint custody over their children. According to Lauryn, their marriage has reached “irretrievable brokenness,” ultimately leading to their divorce. They were married for six years and had four kids together, Ella, Bentley, Stella, and Sylus. There were no other reasons for their separation. But the upcoming season of Mama June is expected to dig deeper into their split. But sources claim that she’s been allegedly dating a close friend and a relative of Josh, Darrin Kitchens. Meanwhile, there are also suspicions regarding Josh, as insiders claim that he was seeing a pregnant woman.
Josh Gives Up, Pumpkin Takes Away All Hope
We TV recently released a preview clip for the upcoming season of Mama June. The trailer shows the chaos revolving around the family. One of them was between Josh Efird and Lauryn Shannon. In one of the clips, Lauryn shocked her family after telling them she and Josh were getting divorced. Josh then got a short scene telling the cameras that they’re “definitely not” okay with how their marriage is going.
The preview then showed Lauryn seemingly talking to a special someone. She was also dodging questions regarding her new flame whenever they asked about him. There was also another scene where Josh found out about Lauryn’s new romance and threw a bouquet of flowers on the table, saying, “Whatever hope I had left for my marriage is gone.” It seems Josh was hoping to reconcile with Lauryn, but he was devastated to learn that she had already moved on with someone else. Lauryn herself was also upset about who told Josh about her new man.

Mama June: More Tensions Rise In The Trailer
Aside from Josh Efird and Lauryn Shannon, the latest preview also showed some horrifying moments. One of them was when the Shannon family ended up in the hospital after a clip of a wrecked car was flashed on the screen. There was also a scene in which Lauryn went off on Jessica, saying, “B***h I’m done with you!” while Mama June showed how stressed she was with their situation. The latest season will also feature huge updates on Alana’s life as she pursues a nursing degree in Colorado.
