Farmer Wants A Wife: John Sansone Likes The Challenge Of Samantha Riehl
When most viewers watch Farmer Wants A Wife, they expect the new ladies to essentially bend over backward to try to win the heart of their farmer. However, as fans have seen so far in Season 3 scenes between John Sansone and Samantha Riehl, that has not been the case at all.
With the energy that Samantha brings to the show, she carries herself as though she is holding all of the cards, and that it’s John’s job to win her over and prove why he is worthy of her. Many viewers were initially put off by this, however, John was intrigued by “the challenge” that Samantha presented, and he proved this when he chose her for the very first solo date of the season.

When John Sansone was recently asked how he felt about Samantha Riehl, he went on to say: “Samantha, I’ve spent the most time with her. She’s not like the other girls in the sense that they’re all in on, you know, trying to win me over, so to speak.” So, even when speaking to the other farmers about Samantha, he seems to like the fact that she isn’t making it easy for him.
On the other hand, while dishing on John Sansone, Samantha said: “Sparks are flying, for sure. But, I’m just such a person that’s, like, I need so much time. I need to know the ins and outs of every single part of you before I can decide if John and I are compatible and if we do have a future. Like I haven’t had enough time with him to be like, oh, 100%. You are it.”
So far this season, there have been a lot of mixed reactions when it comes to Samantha Riehl. On the one hand, a lot of people were put off by her attitude and the way she came on the show and instantly acted like she owned the place. On the other hand, some viewers are commending her for having firm boundaries and knowing what she wants. Whether that’s ultimately John Sansone remains to be seen.
